His greyish green eyes always seem as if alight with conviction and faith, and doubt almost never shows in his nearly chiseled features. Graydon keeps his hair short and well kept, and his face cleanly shaven. Most of the time, Graydon dresses in formal suits and other such attires, for his many public appearances. He is a very intense individual who genuinely believes that what he does is the right thing. Graydon enjoy talking to the masses, and is very good at it. However, he also believe one should get their hands dirty, and thus, has absolutely no issue with getting into the dirty business of taking mutant lives. He truly do believe that mutants and others with powers, are abominations and unholy beasts that must be terminated, no matter their age, in order to protect humanity. Graydon sees himself as a savior, a hero who is willing to do what must be done, despite the odds and the danger. He is a very tactical man, willing to do what is necessary to reach his goals. However, thanks to the scrambler that, despite his scientists’ advice, Graydon wears constantly, parts of his personality is starting to become more extreme. This has resulted in Graydon struggling with a kind of hateful fetish towards mutant women, something he rarely indulges in however. What he do indulge in though, is his appreciation of all things human. Agatha for example, his bodyguard and personal assistant, is severely scarred and with a prosthetic arm from a mutant assault, but is still among the most beautiful women that Graydon has ever met in his own opinion. The reason is that she is so truly human, and a human who has suffered under the whims of one of the infernal Hell spawn that is Mutants at that. the abilities Special Equipment• The Dark angel suit: The Dark angel suit, is Graydon’s main choice when he masquerades as Dark Angel, the top hunter of the Church of Humanity. The full-body suit is made of a special flame retardant, shock absorbent, none conductive (polymer), covered in a specially constructed alloy with a durability somewhat under vibranium. The black and grey suit is constructed with durability as well as mobility in mind. The helmet, equipped with a wide spectrum of lenses, from ultra violet to night vision, is shaped like a white skull with a menacing expression. The suit is equipped with a wide varity of pockets and holsters, with four throwing knives on the chest and two vibranium daggers holstered on the shoulders. It comes equipped with a custom colt model 1911 with 45 cal ACP hollow point bullets, of course also fully customizable, and a custom made machete that can be holstered on Graydon’s lower back, for easy access. The Arch angel suit: The Archangel V.3 suit is a new, experimental suit that Friends of Humanity’s secret science department, in cooperation with Bastion’s own personal specialists, have created. It is made from an light-weight fiber alloy that neither Graydon nor most of his normal scientists understand, but according to Bastion, it enhances the wearer’s physical capabilities many times. Countless Vibranium threads are interlaced with the fabric as well, to give it as much durability as possible. It is molded to resemble the human musculature, with a featureless face piece with a glowing vizor to allow Graydon to see. The Archangel suit possesses several very unique qualities that all lends themselves to enhancing the wearers combat abilities. In the hands and feet of the suit are catalysts and what can basically be described as a release port for all and any kinetic energy absorbed by the suit, a system by which the vibranium threads lends themselves greatly. This means that any and all kinetic energy that the suit absorbs, can be used as a potential weapon when released right back at the assailant. The second capability of the suit, powered by an internal power core beyond Graydon's understanding, is the ability to move at around 770 miles per hour. However, Graydon rarely uses this feature for more than tiny bursts due to one major drawback. It is impossible for him to orientate himself when moving at such speeds, and thus, he can only do it for short bursts to have any chance at hitting his target. The Archangel suit is also equipped with two blades made by equally incredible technology. instead of a blade, there is only a core and a solid lazer to cut through whatever Graydon swings them at. The blades are powered by internal batteries located in the hilt. Unlike the Dark angel suit, the Archangel's blades does not have holsters, but hovers near the shoulder blades on the back of the suit, somehow locked in place, looking like a pair of wings, hence the suit's name. Angelo-7: The Angelo-7 are in many ways the simplest of the suits. It is the suit meant to handle mutants and monsters like the Hulk, creatures of tremendous brute strength. Which is why besides its enhanced and fortified exterior, that the suit has little in ways of fancy gadgets others than a kinetic photon canon and an extensive array of missiles. The gray suit is large and bulky, focusing on brute strength and defense over fancy maneuvers. The suit is also equipped with an emergency electric field, should someone find themselves too close to the suit. Other devices: Thanks to Bastion and his scientists, the Church of Humanity is in possession of a myriad of strange machinery and incredible mechanical creations. chief among them are Bullets laced with a diluted version of "The cure". These bullets have been laced or contains a diluted version of the "cure" against mutant powers, resulting in those struck with the bullets will suffer from retardation of their powers for a limited time of up to five minutes. Then, there is The mutant scanners, small devices that is easily mass produced, created by Bastion's people, and capable of locating carriers of the X-gene and other such abnormalities within a 0.4 mile radius, much like the old sentinel system. The telepathic scramblers are easily worn, crown like devices that can be hid beneath one's hair, and works by covering the brain in a second, electrical, fluctuating field that protects against telepathy in all forms. However, the scramblers have some serious side effects on the human mind if worn too long. Then, there is The Nanite regeneration pods, a device mostly reserved for Graydon and his lieutenants. A person suffering from immediate physical trauma, once lowered into the nanite liquid inside the pod, will experience a full recovery within hours as the small nanites knit together damaged tissue, rejuvenating the body. Weaknesses • Without his suits, Graydon stands much less of a chance against mutants. The suits are made by man, and are thus not unbeatable. Skills • Graydon has extensive training in armed and unarmed combat. He is incredibly charismatic and knows how to sway a crowd. Graydon is very good at keeping calm when the cameras roll, and he knows how to spin events to his advantage. *the history father • Victor Creed, 200+, Mutant mercenary mother • Raven Darkholme, 200+, mutant Mercenary siblings • N/A important people • Bastion: the benefactor who has made it all possible. hometown • Indianapolis overall history • Graydon was born in Indianapolis. He is the son of two mutants, one being the rather well known Victor Creed and the other the equally famous Raven Darkholme. Graydon grew up with a foster family that he was left with shortly after his birth, which laid the foundation for his all-consuming hate of mutants. After all, his foster father held no love for mutants, telling Graydon how his mutant parents had simply left him behind for them to take care of. Being a suspected mutant, Graydon was devastated. However, as soon as the possibility of being tested for the X-gene was a reality, Graydon was tested, the result, to everyone’s surprise, negative. Graydon was as human as his foster parents. Thanking god for this miracle, Graydon’s fanaticism and hate only build as more and more catastrophes caused by mutants were shown in the news each and every day. As Graydon grew up, he decided he wanted to influence the country, to help mankind against the hellish plague of mutants and other “supers”. To achieve this, he studied rhetoric and psychology, training his own body as well, striving to reach the peak of human performance. To fight a enemy like the mutants and other hell spawn like them, he had to be as close to perfect as possible. At the age of twenty one, Graydon was approached by a mysterious man, calling himself Bastion. He offered Graydon the means to truly make a difference, offering to support Graydon economically and bring him where he was needed. Graydon accepted, and much to his surprise, Bastion brought him to a world even worse off than his own. Bastion convinced Graydon he was a man who was as concerned with the safety of humanity, even more so in this world than Graydon's own. Thanks to Bastion, Graydon was able to found Friends of Humanity (FoH). Expecting it to be a fully political organization, Graydon’s surprise was complete when Bastion provided him with a large team of scientists to perform research on the mutant monsters and how to fight them, and a few soldiers to train Graydon’s own troops. Suddenly, Graydon’s organization had a much wider array of ways to fight the mutant scourge. However, most of this, Graydon decided to hide from the public, keeping Friends of Humanity an apparently purely political organization, while Graydon secretly founded the Church of Humanity, the militant branch of FoH. Of course, Church of Humanity had no public ties to FoH except a clear inspiration in name and ideals, but taken further. These days, with the huge protests taking place, FoH and CoH has seen a huge rise in their membership, CoH having become a true militant force to be reckon with, and Graydon couldn’t be happier. the role player alias • Doc will do age • 22 pronouns • He is fine other characters • Erik Lehnsherr |
