He stands at exactly six feet, two inches, and has the build and muscular structure of a fit boxer, possessing broad shoulders, strong arms and legs, and a chiseled torso. His entire body appears to be covered in hair; his arms, his face, his legs, even his torso--- and he likes it that way. The grizzled mutant’s head is covered with shaggy black hair, which extend down on either side of his face into equally shaggy sideburns. The dominating features of Wolverine’s face are his strong chin, angular nose, and sharp gaze, his eyes seeming to change color depending on his mood; black when in a foul mood and dark brown when in a less-than-foul mood. When it comes to clothing, formal attire or snazzy up-to-date fashion isn’t exactly Wolverine’s forte. He can usually be caught in jeans, a standard under-the-shirt white tank top or plain t-shirt, complete with work or cowboy boots. Logan also possesses a jacket that he likes to wear when he goes out, and might once in a while be caught in a cowboy hat. While he’s on the job with the X-Men, he’s usually clad in a tan-and-brown suit, complete with a cowl, gloves, and boots. the personality likes • Time alone, motorcycles, a good drink, cigars dislikes • Overcrowded rooms, stupid answers, birthdays, flying dreams • Maybe someday finish building that bike fears • Flying overall personality • Logan isn’t very kindly. He’s gruff, and is abrasive when it comes to social interactions, if he even bothers with them at all. He has a short temper, and tends to have a problem with tolerating stupid behavior; whether it be directed at him or he just happens to be around. He’s straightforward, and will most definitely tell one how it is, without beating around the bush. He’s an alcoholic, though his mutation prevents him from savoring any kind of buzz, usually liking to drown his sorrows by needing to see the bottoms of multiple bottles of Molson Exports. Logan has a thing for redheads, motorcycles, and old cigars, and has no problem of making that evident in multiple instances, even going so far as to smoke in the school when he can get away with it. He suffers from extensive amnesia and has no memory of his staggeringly long past, what memories he has only prevalent in those few hours of sleep in the form of waking nightmares. However, even with all of these bad personality traits when one first meets him, Wolverine does, indeed, have a bit of a soft side. He’s loyal to a fault, and has no problem with busting some sense into the friends he’s made, whether it’s actually busting some heads with physical violence or just giving them a piece of his own twisted wisdom that he’s learned over his spans of years. Despite the fact that he has trouble showing it, he really does care for his companions the abilities Special abilities • REVENERATIVE HEALING FACTOR Logan possesses a regenerative healing factor, which allows him to recover from practically any injury. Cuts, bruises, puncture wounds--- all are gone within anything from seconds to minutes, depending on the severity of the wound. His healing factor also leaves him immune to all diseases, and gives him a powerful defense against foreign chemicals such as alcohol or drugs, except in extremely excessive doses. His healing factor also grants him: Superhuman Stamina: It blocks fatigue, and therefore allows him to be able to go for extensive periods of time without rest, food, or drink . . . not that he actually likes to do these things or often takes up on the offer. Superhuman Strength: Muscles that would have been torn by lifting objects that are significantly too heavy are easily repaired, allowing him to lift up to seven hundred pounds, and move around even with his Adamantium skeleton. BONE CLAWS Wolverine houses three foot-long bone claws in each forearm. Using muscles in his arm, he can protract them out from between each knuckle, and use them effectively as formidable weapons. ADAMANTIUM SKELETON Every bone in the grizzled mutant’s body is laced with an indestructible, man-made steel alloy called “Adamantium”. It makes him impossibly more indestructible than he was before, and just that much more dangerous. SUPERHUMAN SENSES: Logan possesses superhuman senses. His hearing, olfactory senses, and sight are significantly better than the average human. Weaknesses • REGENERATAIVE HEALING FACTOR: Brainstem: If someone were to somehow cut off Logan’s head and keep it away from his body, his brain wouldn’t be able to send signals to the damaged parts of his body to heal them. Drowning: Because of his added weight, Logan isn’t one much for water, and is able to drown. Going for prolonged time without oxygen would kill him just the same as it would anyone else. Heightened Senses: Because of his heightened senses, Wolverine is vulnerable to excessively louder noises, drastic changes of light, and overpowering smells. Skills • Multilingual - Logan can speak multiple languages and dialects that he has picked up over his travels Martial Artist - Logan is a master of almost every form of martial arts and is skilled in hand-to-hand combat the history hometown • Alberta, Canada overall history • Logan was once known as James Howlett. Born on April 9th, 1805, as the second son to a wealthy family, he was a sickly child much through his youth and often had to stay in his room. However, one fateful night, a family friend, Mr. Logan, erupted into the Howlett household in a drunken rage. With him he carried a shotgun, and made angry demands. Young James crept from his room, only to witness the murder of his childhood father. It was then that in his own fit of rage, James discovered his mutation, and with his new bone claws killed his presumed father's murderer, only with the man’s last dying breath to discover the truth. James became a runaway, and over the course of his long extended years found himself mixed up in the middle of many wars, relations, and adventures, surviving for decades, while searching for some kind of purpose. And then, he thought he found one, with the extension of an offer from a government official who claimed to be a part of a program known as Weapon X. He could serve his country, and therefore also get a number of benefits. Of course, Logan agreed. He then became their guinea pig for a number of terrible experiments; yet nothing they could do to him would be quite like what they had planned. They laced his bones with Adamantium, and planned to control ‘the Wolverine’ as their indestructible super-soldier. However, Logan escaped, though with only his freedom, and not his memories. Again, he wandered the globe looking for a purpose, but now he had nothing but his name, and his inability to die . . . That is, until he found himself through a turn of unexpected events at Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. Now, he had somewhere to go, somewhere to operate . . . and perhaps a better chance at unlocking his past . . . And found it, he did, along with all of his memories. Afterward, he returned home--- and became established at the school over the passing years, and eventually, even becoming one of the professors--- history. the role player alias • scribbler619/scribs age • 19 pronouns • they/them/their |
