Conor is attractive, he knows it, and he shamelessly flaunts it. He stands at five feet, nine inches, and comes in to weigh at one hundred and seventy three pounds. He's fairly built for someone of his size and stature, though he doesn't have exceptional strength; built more like a track runner than he is a a boxer. He has a fair face with angular, defined and almost faerie-like features, with bright green eyes and lips usually carrying a mischievous smile. This fair face is framed with thick, choppy locks of black hair, that he keeps at a medium-length and a rather messy style, and his eyes are a bright and mischievous emerald green.

His choice in dress shifts depending on his mood. Most of the time, it's mostly a palette of black and grays and whatever odd color that just happened to go with his pick of the outfit. Though his closet is also full of multiple different kinds of cosplay and he often enjoys dressing up for the sake of showing off and the fact that he simply can.

overall personality • . Conor is definitely a "Jack". He's a troublemaker first-off, and manipulates all of his relationships, whether he be working with one person for the advantage of the relationship, or becoming another's adversary because they stand in his way and/or he happened to be bored that particular day. He has an eidetic memory, able to recall images, sounds, and other memories with ease, spanning back to memories from when he was around five years of age. He's arrogant, yet gets his arrogance from being highly intelligent and being able to pick up small details and surrounded by those who weren't and couldn't. He doesn't like sweets; as a matter of fact, he hates them, but enjoys sports and messing with others, if he isn't already playing his video games with friends. He's handy with technology, though he isn't an expert, and uses this to his advantage often when it matters. Though he's very good at hiding it and putting it to better use, he has a short temper and is often quick with a word and always ready to fight, though he's clever enough to pick and choose said fights as well. He can be a troublesome yet advantageous ally, and a terrible and formidable enemy.

the abilities

Special abilities • Umbrakinesis, the power to control shadows. This allows him to do, at the cost of his own energy and with the help of already existing shadows, do all of the following:

-Create, manipulate and shape shadows. This includes increasing the intensity of shadows that already exist as well as add to their mass and make them larger at will.

-Shroud a room or hallway in darkness at a maximum radius of thirty feet.

-Become undetectable as long as he is in shadow. This includes shadows cast by himself or others.

-Animate shadows, pulling them away from their casting objects to create hologram-like creatures and images.

-He can also solidify these images and make them into controllable constructs at will. He can make walls, weapons, armor, as well as tendrils and/or chains to bind/attack with. The stronger the concentration and larger the mass of shadow in the construct, the stronger the construct.

-Make clones of himself or others, which are alike in every detail thanks to his eidetic memory.

-Control other people by connecting his shadows to another's and use them like a marionette. 

-Can teleport from one shadow to another that is within a maximum radius of thirty five feet.

-Has his own spatial awareness that allows him to know where objects are in a room, even in complete darkness. This same spatial awareness allows him to adapt to the dark and places absent of light . . . in other words, the darker the room, the better he thrives.



Weaknesses •

Umbrakinesis deals with shadow, so, of course, one of the greatest weaknesses Conor has to face is light. The presence of a strong light, with the intensity of a torch or higher, can weaken and even dissipate his constructs. But other than light, his limitations include:

-He can only make a room darker within a thirty foot radius

-He cannot interact with someone physically while he is hiding in shadow, he has to come out of hiding in order to do so

-Animations are only projected images

-Constructs are only as strong as much shadow that was put into them and are still impervious to light

-Clones are not actual clones; they are still made of shadow, and like constructs are still impervious to light

-His shadow must connect with another's in order to make them a marionette, and depending on the strength of the shadow and the person can be broken. Conor must also be doing the action he wants the other to do in order for the action to be carried out

-If the shadow he wishes to teleport to is out of a thirty-five foot radius, and he is not already standing in a starting shadow that isn't his own, he cannot teleport to another shadow.

-His spatial awareness is only as far as a radius of thirty-five feet

the history

overall history • Conor was born into the family of a rich entrepreneur, Christian Gallager. However, before he was four, his mother divorced his father and took his young sister with her, leaving him without memory of his sister or a mother figure of his own. Christian, trying to fix this, hired nannies in order to fill this gap and allow him to continue work. His own absence, however, left him without the knowledge that his son was about as contradictory a little shit as he ever was.

The nannies tried to win Conor's favor in every way imaginable--- sweets, toys, games, you name it--- But over time, Conor only began to hate sweets, disdain the toys and games given to him, and was only worse with every nanny he made quit or got fired. It got even worse when he discovered he was able to use shadows. There wasn't a nanny Christian could find in Dublin or beyond that would hire to take care of his demon child. That is, until he found Lillah Durnin. There wasn't a thing that Conor could do that would drive Lillah away, and she began to turn him from highly demonic to only slightly so, and even began to help him control his powers as much as he could.

When they got an invitation to Xavier's, Christian sent Conor in hopes of having his son under even better control, though really only gave him more freedom than he'd ever need.
